Have you read The Sense of an Ending by Julian Barnes?

I know I should! I’ve read A History of the World in 10 1/2 Chapters and have skimmed through England, England. The Sense of an Ending and Flaubert’s Parrot should be next! (and I haven’t forgotten Far From The Madding Crowd)

And we’ll dress like them, because they dress SO WELL, and have madcap adventures, and write ourselves wonderful stories to live!

Oh.God.yes please! and we’ll be constantly travelling…all the places we’ll see! and we’ll spontaneously start reciting poetry in the most unfitting, awkward circumstances and laugh. World, prepare yourself haha.
